My granddaughter will be in a Hasbro commercial!
She'll be two in June and she's gorgeous.
Friendly and outgoing and just funny as hell too.
A friend of my daughter works in the advertising department of Hasbro and alerted her to the casting call near Boston.
"Take Charlotte. She's perfect."
Well, we all knew she was 'perfect'.
:-)

They went, but my daughter didn't think they did particularly well.
Charlotte wasn't too interested in the Hasbro toy to be advertised but really went for a big ball that was in the room.
So this was really a surprise.

Just now she forwarded this email to me:
"Hello,
Thanks for coming out to our casting call yesterday! Charlotte has been chosen as one of the babies for the shoot. :)

I will be sending out more details tomorrow, but the shoot will be here at Hasbro in Pawtucket, RI on Thursday. You will be here for about 2 hours.

Our rate is $107 per hour, minimum of two hours, and includes a buyout for unlimited worldwide usage."

I'm gonna hit Charlotte up for a loan.
;-)

3. I've cautioned her mother.
About becoming a 'show biz mom'.
I wonder if she gets the standard agent's 10%?

5. I never had kids
but my favorite commercial is the AT&T (I think) one with the little girl who put the stuffed monkey in her dad's briefcase
'Sweet pea...apple of my eye...'

Congrats to your granddaughter...she's going to be a STAR!!
