4. I think the animal in the OP has its legs tucked under
and its ears thrown back. Pretty cute animal. (I guess it could also be a llama, but I don't really know the difference except that llamasare a little bigger than alpaca.) :hi:

5. It's just a human-caterpillar hybrid
IIRC, Bush warned us of these things and we didn't listen, probably cuz he was wrong about everything else. This particular speciman appears to be Irish.

9. I agree with Heidi, looks like a young alpaca
Several people in this area raise llamas so I see them quite often as I drive by their farms. They are considerably bigger and have longer/bigger ears than alpacas. Llamas sit like that too, all you see is this big legless looking body with their big long neck and head towering above it.

11. Definitely an alpaca. A neighbor used to raise them.
Cute animals, but they can really spit (and it is a foul spit at that)!

12. A llama paratrooper after his chute failed to open
:-)

Looks like an "apaca". I saw Mike Rowe shave one on "Dirty Jobs". I remember two things... their fur makes a great yard and they can spit like a motherfucker.
