It was a tough night last night. Several times I thought I should call a squad again. Around 2 in the morning, the steroids finally kicked in and I was able to breathe. I think I actually slept 4-5 hours! :wow: My lungs are seriously congested and I've got a bad cold, so it's going to take quite a while to be well again.

19. I had similar bout last year..

Had a cold that settled in my chest. I spent 4 days in the hospital on all kinds of machines. Now I'm extremely careful when I get a cold. If I feel it going into my chest, I go to the doctor right away. That was the second time I had gone to the emergency room for help. They couldn't get my numbers up.

Got so bad they had to put a port-a-potty next to the bed, and even getting up and going that far got my heart racing and taxed my lungs. So I know how you feel!!

Take care sweety, and keep writing and letting us know how you're doing.

Lelapin and I will go down to the village and see the EMTs who brought me in. They have an O2 saturation machine. Maybe she'll read my number since she told me she's an asthmatic herself. That and I'd like to say thank you without tears streaming down my face and begging them to help me like Saturday night. :(
