But otherwise do not waste your money on this piece of trash.

I was bored and lonely and needed a distraction. This was the movie showing the soonest. I should have waited for the later showing of Duplicity.

Nice product placement for the Mazda 3. Same color as mine even (although I think it was a slightly newer model).

1. I can out-do that
I watched I Am Omega on the Sci-Fi Channel this evening.

(Same premise as I Am Legend, a.k.a. The Omega Man. They even named the protagonist Richard, after Richard Matheson, who wrote the original story.)

It was bad.

Really bad.

Two-hours-of-my-life-wasted bad.

4. What could possibly drive a person to watch a Sci-Fi Original?
Do you need an intervention?

6. Fortunately, it's a self limiting disorder
I'm in post-Galactica shock, plus I have my usual end-of-winter sinus infection AND an intestinal bug (neither of which are BSG-related).

I also liked the original book (I Am Legend), and thought the movie was one of the various versions of the story that I had missed.

Next week's atrocity is Polar Storm. I like disaster movies, but maybe I should rent Endearment On The Side or Fried Green Traveling Pants that night.

I'll say this -- the ads are right. It really IS the most dangerous night of of TV. The aliens at Hulu should take note.

2. The regular one or the spiffed up version?
I'm surprised the apparently very bored flvegan hasn't showed up to talk cars yet. He has the fancy pants mazdaspeed version of the 3.

3. I don't think it was the souped-up version.
But they didn't show a good shot of the back. I was just tickled when I was sitting in my car afterward and some kid said "Look, there's the car from the movie!"

5. The Mazda 3 is a vastly underrated car.
Be it the 4 door sedan, the 5 door hatch or the 'Speed3 hatch, for the money one really can't find a better car at that price point.

My mom loves her 3 hatch and I of course love my 'Speed3.
