He's awesome.

If I'm wrong - he's still awesome.

(But I'll feel a little silly saying so without context).

Go fire up a Google search page and see if you think that's why they played with their logo today (without peeking/mousing-over/right clicking/etc. first! Well, unless you want to...)

This is a really useless post - unless you're a children's book addict (I'm most definitely fall in that category - must be in withdrawal at this point too, hence my actually following through with posting this... heh).

3. Bush said that his favorite childhood book
was the hungry caterpillar...this book wasn't published until Bush was 22-years-old.

5. Truly??
If so, I'm torn. I used to work for one of the largest (now-defunct or mostly-defunct) literacy organizations in the US (at a local chapter level) and don't think low-literacy is any laughing matter. I had clients in their 30s and 40s who were at that reading level. I find the thought of that shitbrains stumbling through children's lit in his 20s to be somewhat sad even if he did almost destroy our civilization.

On the other hand, it almost reassures me to know that he's low-lit. It makes so many other things make sense. I wonder if Laura reads to him, reading to your learning-reader improves vocabulary, reading comprehension and baseline literacy levels. I find it hard to have the disdain for her that so many other do here at DU; she did give my organizational employer a $250,000 grant to buy library books for the local public schools. It's more than anybody else in federal government ever did for those kids.

6. He was lying..
He was just trying to come off as...um...a normal citizen i guess..for lack of a better word. But yes, it is true,Bush did say that. Don't worry, Bush knows how to read and he can read very well.

My Father donates to a program that teaches adults to read.

7. No need to ever google when Google alters their logo
Just place your curser over the logo and the explanation will pop up to explain the change.
