On VH1's "I love the 80's" a few people floated that theory, which was new to me and I found pretty interesting.

They mentioned some thematic elements that arguably had homoerotic undertones, but it's really too long ago for me to remember too much about it.

I just thought the whole VH1 thing was a stretch and wondered if that "theory" was actually floating around back in the eighties or was just something funny they made up for the show. I had never heard of it before and was a huge Masters of the Universe fan when I was a little kid.

the best thing about "I love the 80s" was that it was purely tongue-in-cheek. None of the self-important stuff that VH1 usually gets into. Even when talking about the Berlin Wall coming down, they focussed on the David Hasselhoff aspect of it.

I'm counting the days until "I love the 70's." It looks like the same people are involved. :-)
