Job interview
Interviewed for a position six weeks ago (as of this Friday); it went well I think. I contacted the office secretary about two weeks ago and she said the process was taking longer than they expected but that I should know something by the next week. Well, the next week I e-mailed one of the people who interviewed me and he said they haven't decided anything and they'd contact me when they do. I checked all my references and none of them have been called or e-mailed.

What do you guys think? Prepare myself for disappointment on this one? It is a government job so perhaps the long wait isn't too uncommon.
