Stern also says he has an inside source at the FCC that says "Chairman Mao, I mean Powell" is freaking out about the damage that Stern might cause against Bush's re-election.

Oops, my market is one that was pulled, nevermind.

I used to listened to Stern no more than 1/2 hour every morning (drive to work) since the time he came on the air in my area. I really enjoyed his show.

When Howard began shilling for AWOL during the beginning of the Iraq war, I could no longer stomach listening to him. I remember hearing things like, "Let's just Nuke all the Ragheads". It made me sick, because I knew the power that Howard commands over his less than informed audience.

I am glad that Howard his had a chance to contemplate reality, rather than stay in the fog.
