Kritik's Korner--Charlie Daniels "Passion" review (It iz az it wuz)

A crown of thorns was pushed down on His head and the guards taunted Him and hit Him with their fists.

I have seen movies about the crucifixition(sic) of Jesus, but none of them brought home the realization of what actually happened to him as vividly as this one.

Some of you are probably wondering about the foreign language used in the film. Have no fear, the subtitles are explanatory and concise, making it easy to follow along with whats happening on the screen.

I don't want to tell you very much about the movie because I want you to experience it as I did, but I will say that it ends in a very upbeat way.

I am firmly convinced that no person ever born has suffered nearly as much pain as Jesus Christ...uh, except for all them other people the Romans crucified...

Probably the most Scriptually (sic) correct film I’ve ever seen...though there are bits of dialogue and small side scenes which are not in The Gospel...'cause they're like made up an' shit.

I don’t want to tell you very much about the movie because I want you to experience it as I did, but I will say that it ends in a very upbeat way: the son of God is slowly tortured to death.

the part where Satan strolls among the Jews stirring things up...that must have been edited out of my Bible.
That, and the part where Satan gets all in Jesus' face at the end there.
