I am a bad feminist.
I played with Barbies when I was younger.
The only reason I don't wear makeup that often is because I'm too uncoordinated to put eyeliner on properly.
I love all things pink and sparkly.
Sephora and Lush are probably my two favorite stores in the world.
I'm not anti-porn, and I'm pro-decrimuinalizing sex work.
I love to cook.
I am terrible at math and have no desire to get into a career involving a substantial component of it.
I'd wear high heels if I could balance in them.
I occasionally wear revealing clothing.
I have, on occasion, done the above to attract attention.

Yup, I'm bad. Bad, bad, bad.

(By the way, I'm kind of joking around. Just in case anyone gets really offended.)

1. good thing you put in that last line!

The point of feminism was for women to be able to choose to do what made sense to them!

2. No. No you're not.
I know you're kinda joking, but gf, you've _got_ to stop worrying about what other people think of you: whether your IQ is high enough, whether other people think you're a good/bad feminist, etc. You cannot control what other people think; you maybe can influence it (if you want to). The only thing in life that you can ever _truly_ hope to control is your own _reaction_. I wish I'd known this when I was your age.

Not that it matters one whit, but I think :yourock:

I love you, too, young warrior woman -- but we've already established this salient fact. :loveya:

4. You don't even OWN any work boots, do you?!

To thine own self be true. I generally agree with feminism. Still it is more important to think for yourself than it is to conform to any specific ideology.

played with Barbies when I was younger.

wear makeup and can apply make up very well . esp the dramatic variety

love all things pink & sparkly

sephora & mac & fredericks are my fav stores

i love to cook

i love porn and support decriminalization of sex work

i wear high heels

i only wear revealing clothing :P

i do not believe all sex work is detrimental to women

i dont think a real feminists ever implies another person is a slut, unless they are saying in in a complimentary fashion

i have often wanted to be in dykeporn. now, i am too fat unfortunately

i am good at math but find it boring

i also think women are complicit in MANY ways in their own oppression

11. "Too fat"?????
You're one of the most physically beautiful women in this community of more than 100,000 members. The "too fat" thing doesn't wash with me, dear.

8. Feminism, I think, is about being able to have ALL the options to do
what YOU want to do. This means that if these are things that are part of who you are, then that is what maximizing your interests is to you, and feminists SHOULD support those choices...

15. Thankfully feminism means you get to make your own choices in life. And then
live with the consequences. If you like the consequences of wearing high heels.. go for it.

18. All this time I thought the rules consisted of
"you, woman, should (and can) do anything you want. Let's make sure the system supports that."

Which meeting did I miss?

;)

20. heh.
gotta say, I don't see a real problem, there.

What, you don't conform to a stereotype? Oh, the horror!

I'm a straight guy who likes football and action movies...

But, I also love cats (enough to go to cat shows) and I watch figure skating.

I don't take anyone seriously who'd question my masculinity as a result.

Just, by the way...I think any woman who's not essentially a feminist - believing that women should be equal - has to be either an idiot or a masochist.
