1. She's supposed to be playing Anne of Cleves in the new season of the Tudors.
Last I heard anyway.

5. That made me so giddy!
I cannot wait until April 5th!

:bounce::bounce::bounce:

I will miss Natalie Dormer, though. I thought she was a wonderful on-screen presence.

6. I cried like a baby!
I watched all of season 2 last week and just bawled...I boycotted the show for a bit, but gave in.

7. The fact that her father didn't acknowledge her enraged me.
Anne was forced to do all that she did by her father and uncle, and not even a wave for the sacrifice of her life.

Fucking asshole. :grr:

9. Yeah, he was a bit of a prick
I am a little obsessed with Anne...when I was little the movie "Anne of the Thousand Days" was out and I used to play Executioner...I was Anne of course.

10. I'm really excited, too
I'll miss Natalie as well... she really brought a fresh perspective to the role of Anne. I think she portrayed just the right amount of ambition, love of Henry, frustration, and recognition of her own impending doom. The end was terribly sad, even though I knew what was coming. :(

3. She may be/have been very talented....
...but her record label or whoever was managing her career lost me when they tried shoving her down our throat every 5 minutes. Without a hit of even moderate scope, she was on every awards show, every tribute show, every benefit, every large multi-band live event, no matter how inapropriate her presence.

I mean if she had a hit song and was just trying to ride the wave of it and capitalize on her moment then I could see it. But she never really had a hit single or anything of the sort yet was a musical performer at every single televised musical event or show despite in a lot of cases being extremely out of place.

Then when that didn't work and nobody was really buying her hippie soul child thing, she tried the pink haired skankily dressed hip hop chick thing and that didn't seem to go over very well.

8. She's playing tiny local gigs in the UK
Edited on Mon Mar-09-09 09:09 PM by Tangerine LaBamba
And, she's supposed to have a new album coming out in the UK, but it's been delayed.

She was great. Remember the duet she did with Mick Jagger on the "Alfie" soundtrack? Excellent stuff.
