Seriously, she's in charge of changing tires, headlights and such, as well as assembling Ikea furniture. I think I could do the furniture part but not without screaming, swearing, and cursing the Swedes.

She also helps with the Ikea art. In fact, it was her idea to do it after our last trip.

I hope to have the new art up by tomorrow.

1. I, too, am the IKEA assembler in our house.
My husband gets just pissy when he tries to put the IKEA stuff together. Me, I love it.

2. I love you
And I'm happy to be handy. It's genetic. I love to assemble and reverse-engineer and repair. I get it from my Momma. Makes me happy. That smug sense of self-satisfaction is tops!

3. My wife is mechanically declined.
She can cook and bake better than me, but anything that involves more than a flathead screwdriver is a disaster waiting to happen If she messes with anything mechanical, electronic or some such, it always results in a Tim "Tooltime" Taylor fiasco.

I'm also an Econ major and very handy with crafts (knitting, stained glass). I'm a renaissance woman.

5. I think I love your wife too
I don't think I've ever done any of the things you mentioned without cursing.

7. Well, maybe if you put the bong down occasionally, you could be of more help.
:eyes:

Plus, it is no secret that you married her because she's so beautiful. So stop with the rationalizing. It's not pretty.
