have to miss a very important fundraiser

I don't know if you all recall in mass last year when a very sick woman walked two young children into oncoming traffic last year, killing them all. This tragedy was very close to home, close family friends, I have known the dad since he was 6 years old. This month is a fundraiser dinner for their mental health advocacy group.......however it being 100 bucks a plate I can't spend that money, not knowing when my surgery will be. However, if anyone in the area is interested in going or donating
