Whew! I escaped a freeper visit this morning. I love my uncle, but he is an obnoxious rushbo fan.

I cleaned up his PC a few weeks ago, and now he has received a CD he wants me to install.

He ranted about Democrats, made me listen to Fox News, and calls our President Sambo. I told him to stop it, or I'd leave him a screen saver of President Obama. He shut up after that, LOL!

How hard is it to install a CD? He won't try it, and wants me to do it. I called him back this morning to talk him through it. I guess he wants other things done too. Simple things, like sign up for websites.

Moral of the story? Die hard rushbo fans that don't even know how to install with a CD scare me. That's his base of fans.

go with sound, like for any of the beeps and such in the Windows sound alerts (that most of us shut off as they are so annoying on their own.) Get sound clips of President Obama appropriate to the alerting-action. And maybe put a longer clip for the start-up and shut-down sequences

7. Be careful of the shit RWers would like you to install...

One of the assholes at the place I used to work at is a guy who won't listen to Rushbo because he thinks Pigboy's too liberal. You're like "huh?" Yes, this man is a freaking Nazi. (If you're familiar with some of the posts I made about my last job, one of the people lived in a camper on the shop floor. It's this guy I'm talking about.)

He's also supremely computer illiterate. He had this CD he wanted me to install on his machine. I did it, and it was this file called "Rehearsals for Obama's Inaugural Ball." Huh? If someone gives you this file, DO NOT open it. It's a video of an African village dancing set to the theme song from "The Jeffersons."

The same fucker also gave me this instruction when he told me to set up the boss's television so everyone in the shop could watch the inauguration: "He wants to set up the tv so we can see the n***** getting inaugurated, and I won't do it." Lots of comments about him hoping the KKK attended the ceremony followed. Yes, I'm glad not to be working there now.

12. It's just a Norton Anti Virus CD, which I thought he could do himself. But he wants other things.

Last time I was there, his PC was a mess. I got it cleaned up, and got him signed up for his bank accounts.

Now he wants to sign up for other things too. So that is really the reason he wants me to install this CD.

He just lost his wife of 50 years, who used to do these things for him. I can't turn him down. He's pretty lovable, aside from politics.

15. My brother in law is like that - I never realized he was a RW'er

till after Obama won - I told him bush was belonged in prison, and I think he really got pissed. He thinks someday Bush will be declared a great president!

Yet, there is a lot of good in the guy, and we have a lot of laught when we see each other (not often - he lives near Galviston.)
