Which peanut butter would you consider buying? Skippy?

2. Smuckers Natural for me
Ingredients: Peanuts, Salt.

Of course, you have to stir it before you can eat it, as the peanut oil separates and rises to the top.

Still, it's worth the extra effort.

3. For me, the extra hassle of stirring WASN'T worth it--I hated
Doing that. Now I buy generic peanut butter. It may not be ALL, but it's mostly good. :hi:

5. Admittedly, the stirring is a pain in the arse
The solids that separate from the oil are like partially set concrete. I've bent several sturdy utensiles trying to accomplish the stirring process. I've even considered using my drill and a 1" spade bit to stir the stuff, but I figured I'd probably break the glass jar in the process.

For me, a diabetic, the lack of added sugar is the key.

Plus there's a certain snob appeal to 'all natural' peanut butter. Added to which, you can now get Smuckers Natural Organic Peanut Butter!

Fuckin-A right, man!

8. Ahhh, the diabetic factor. Totally understandable that the extra effort
Is worth it, because peanut butter fucking rawks yeah fuck yeah! :-)

As far as mixing strategies go, I would stab the concrete repeatedly with a regular knife for preliminary stirring in the oil, and then mix the top half and then work my way down. I always thought that completely removing the peanut butter from the jar and putting it into a mixing bowl would be the best way overall to get the job done, but I like the thought of your drilling idea! :P

6. I only get the natural kind.
I don't like that hydrogenated fat they put in most other brands, and the stirring doesn't bother me.

As a bonus, I didn't have to worry about getting poisoned when the last scare happened.

13. I use Walmart's house brand.
It's really good, was not involved in the poison peanuts scandal of 2008.
