3. Do you know what to expect?

If possible, scope out the likely test route for things like lane changes, speed limits, difficult intersections, and anything else that might be good to know about ahead of time. If you have to do parallel parking, Y turns, or anything else out of the ordinary, make sure you have these things down.

4. ask you friends who have taken the test....

what was emphasized by the testers. Where I was tested all they cared
about was parallel parking, so I practiced that exhaustively and passed
even tho I could barely drive!

I did learn to drive eventually, and to this day I am the master of
parallell parking.

keep going back every chance you get. don't be discouraged. i know; trust me.

7. Here there are three things they'll flunk you for:

1.) Not looking in the rear-view mirror before stopping
2.) Not using your turn signal
3.) Fucking up the 3-point turn

You'll do fine. All of those are easy to remember. :D
