I have an issue with you thinking that people that are drinking or in some cases drunk post threads about it because they need some sort of ego boost. It's not about that, it's about having fun, feeling good, being happy, letting inhibitions down a bit.

It could easily be argued that putting down those that do are the actions of someone needing to feel better than them. I'm not going to argue that point, but the point could be made.

I think ~you~ should let it go. People post here in all sorts of mental capacities, and the drunk ones have a nice permanent record of everything they did/said/mispelled etc.

I'm guilty of bitching about obit threads, I prefer to see a happier lounge than a moping one, but have learned to look past them. If it's about making DU look bad, well there's plenty of other fish in this barrel called the lounge to shoot at.

you're still capable of flipping the bird, though it's possible that your cat has eaten a bird, or toyed with it to the point of death. More likely, you've over-roasted a chicken. So the bird has been dead as long as you've been acquainted with it and as the French like to say: If it's black, -it's done.
