Oops...I accidentally reversed the margarita recipe...

It was supposed to be 3 parts mix to 1 part tequila. I did 3 parts tequila to 1 part mix. I realized my error after my wife tasted it. I added a bunch of mix to make it at least tolerable for me, and made a new batch for my goodly wife (who SO deserves a proper margarita). So, if you notice more frequent, incoherent posting from me throughout the evening, now you know why.

3. um, it is NOT a proper margarita if you are using a "mix"

5 parts tequila (100% agave, correct?)
3 cointreau (or triple sec, if you must)
6 parts lemon or lime juice
simple syrup to taste, if needed

cracked ice
salt rimmed glass
on the rocks or strained
