3. I too love them both, I voted for The Cure.
I really respect how long Robert Smith has been around, all the different scenes through the decades. I didn't care for him , at first. The first Cure song that got to me was "Grinding Halt".

I guess that tenacity and grit is what earned my vote, then again Jane's Addiction has better musicianship in some ways-and they've been through it all too.

They are both truly, truly great bands.
