help
I click Itunes and get this.
A yellow triangle that has an exclamation mark inside and says
The iTunes Music Library File cannot be read because it does not
appear to be a valid library file.

Seriously, Kleebster, I don't know what's up. Try turning off your computer and turning it back on again. It's good for what ails ya.

4. Rebuild your desktop.
You're on a Mac, I assume? You do that by restarting while holding down the option and apple keys. Hold them down until you get the prompt, "Do you really want to rebuild the desktop file?" Say yes.

Let me know if that helps.

5. actually I am not on a mac
I use a lot of mac programs because a lot of em I like to use. I am on a XP PC.

6. Did This Just Start Happening?
I'm not familiar with this software, but it sounds like file corruption. Download one or the other until the program can read the data.

8. I think you're screwed...
iTunes is really weird about the way it catalogues files - did you add/modify any part of the iTunes music folder? Would "System Restore" take you back a few days and fix this problem?

10. Go into
my documents --> my music --> iTunes and delete the two library files there.

(make sure iTunes is turned off before you do that)

Then go back into iTunes, and rebuild your library.

it worked, and I avoided my mistake from last time. You see it asked me if I wanted to clear my files from my iPod. I wisely said no this time. Thank god :).
