Why are DVDs and CDs so friggin' difficult to pull out of their packaging? Holy crap, it's like busting into Ft. Knox! Come on, if I'm only spending $9.00 on something, it shouldn't take ten minutes and a chainsaw to remove the plastic wrapper. And why so many security devices? I've seen $900 televisions that I could have easily walked out of the store with, but no, you buy a DVD and if you exit the store the sensor is tripped and eighteen armed security guards tackle you to the ground and beat you senseless with the DVD.

6. No kidding. I almost hate to buy a cd because I know before I leave the

store that when I get home there's always the potential that I stab myself with a knife or pair of scissors when I try to open it. That damn plastic crap that they put on the top of those things are way more work than I usually want to go through for anything. And this is supposed to be entertainment. It's potential suicide, albeit accidental, just trying to open the frigging thing. And then, just when you think you've got it, these's some damn invisible tape still holding the thing securely sealed and unreachable. So you get out the sharp object again, and that's when the injury occurs. Because you CAN'T SEE the damn tape. And talk about tape. That stuff could hold the space shuttle together even during a dicey re-entry. Whoever came up with that stuff was a sadist with a very sick sense of humor.

...you would think there were diamonds secured behind that plastic.

And to take it even further, they use that tape on the inside of the plastic to hold the jewel case together (as if the plastic wasn't enough). You grab the butcher knife to cut that bastard, and end up picking parts of your fingers, and tape, in strips from the jewel case.

Almost makes you want to flip a big FU to the record companies, don't it? No wonder Napster was so darn popular!

8. not just cd's

I bought a pair of wire cutters enclosed in these blasted plastic raps you are describing. After struggling cursing and swearing at it, i used ran my table saw just to open the f..... thing!!!!

9. Realtors who don't list square footage of homes

We're trying to buy a house and today we saw one where the listing agent didn't even bother to measure and/or approximate. That's just stupid and lazy, IMO.
