Martha Stewart is RIGHT ON!!!!!
 They say her problem wasn't so much a case of being too greedy, just that she was proud and greedy. :silly: :D

What's so wrong with a woman looking out for herself? :nuke: Will someone explain that to me, huh? So she wasn't satisfied with the status quo, she wanted more! Good for her...... :D

They only hate her because she's a successful woman anyhow. hmmph.

1. She is "Miss Perfect"
You never hear this criticsm of a man, it's true. Men who strive for perfection are "leaders."

There's something catty about all the glee -- where is the same viciousness about Skilling, Ebbers, et al?

2. Disagree--

Lie to the cops, man or woman, and they won't appreciate it.

3. Well, for one thing, it's not the cops, and another...
...it was a case of pissy Nazis in the Justice Department (who controls these jack-booted thugs? Ass-croft, of course) who couldn't get her on perjury or insider trading, so they fabricated a case, and surprise--surprise--a jury bought it.

Yeah, and OJ is still free. So don't give me anything about the "intelligence" of juries.

4. Actually, I think it was just that she was proud.
The prosecutor wanted to make an example of her so the rest of us would quake in our boots. It's an effective tactic to keep us all under control

Frankly, I think the entire thing was a deplorable injustice.
