I owe the dog an apology.
I woke up earlier, opened the bedroom door and was blasted with a smell from hell. The dog spent the night on the couch, and I immediately accused him of spending the night farting just to piss me off. I should say, I'm not a good morning person.

I chastised him for stinking up the place and put him in the back yard.

I went into the kitchen to grab a Pepsi from the fridge.

I noticed the crock pot on the counter.

I had completely forgotten that I was crock-potting beans.

I feel so guilty for getting mad at the poor, innocent dog.

What did you do first thing this morning?

3. First thing this morning I got a call from work
Saying that I have to come in today. Dammit! I thought I was in the clear when they didn't call me yesterday. I had planned on catching up on some of my homework today, now it will have to wait until tomorrow. I never get a day to just relax and piddle around not doing much of anything.

6. Two Words:
Caller ID. You have a life. Unless you have agreed to be on-call, I wouldn't let anyone tell me "You have to come in today."

This happened to me once. Employer calls me on a Saturday morning and says two people called in sick, you have to come in. I said "I'm sorry Keith, could you please rephrase that in the form of a question."

He then asked if I would come in and I said I was awfully sorry, but I had other plans that day I couldn't alter.

If they ASK, it gives you the power to say NO.

4. We owe the entire species of dog an apology
for breeding them up with wrinkly faces and curly tails and shaving them up into little balls - making them yapping midgets and woofing giants with tiny legs or long skinny legs. You name it.

Yes I know I own a Siamese cat and many people have a problem with them too. We bred the cat into whiny skinny things with cries like babies.

What I did this morning: I made up a wonderful pot of Chai with some special silver tippy Assam tea, cardomon pods, cinamnon stick, ginger and a few peppercorns. I added warm milk to the pot and steeped. Nice on a rainy morning.

5. If you can train a dog not to fart
then logically you could train them to fart on command.

I'll have to look into this...
