1. everybody has a cold here, my kid had it and then gave it to me and then my husband came

home from China with a cold, he always comes home sick.

2. I have found a good combo of

vitamins that I swear has kept me healthy all winter. I use emergen-c and zinc (but you have to take copper because zinc can cause a copper deficiency). However, I have not been sick since October, so knock on wood!

Oh and make sure you wash your hands a lot!

5. Be careful

All the supplements in the world are helpless against a virus, and the flu bug hit particularly late this year - by almost three months. It's just getting geared up here in VA, and people who were crowing about having made it through the winter without getting sick are falling down everywhere these days.

Washing your hands cannot be overestimated, I agree.

10. I had it the morning of the Inauguration.

Already had taken the day off in advance and was disappointed to wake-up with the flu. It's gone around our office a few times.

And when I got to Denver, others had either gotten over it or were at the beginning stages. Same symptoms, too.

It's pretty bad this year.

I'd carry around a bottle of sanitizer until the season's over.
