1. Why do I get the idea...
that most fashion designers are creatively sadistic misogynists? Most likely addled by psychotropic substances of some sort, too. And probably take great and gleeful pleasure in making the women who have to parade their insanities up and down the catwalk look as absurd as possible...

2. My father, who is now 78, has been saying that since I was about 14.
They are all women-haters, he says.

3. I like the first two
Not sure I would have a lot of places to wear them now, but I would have when I was an urban party girl.

6. Like your work but as a art major in college....
The pictures make the colors a little muddy, my guess is it is the film copy, as the subjects and style is so nice and new, the colors must also be clean to go with it.Some times film does odd things to colors. Some times the blue bass film with drag out any blue when you have hardly put any in. If you do not believe me look at the pictures of the masters then go and see them in person. Rothko or any, works the same way.

4. The one on top is most like a hat. . .

the second one is like a long veil or mantilla, and the one on the bottom is just garbage attached to earmuffs. Earmuffs are not hats. I like the first two, the third one is a bad joke.

5. If they want to ride in my car, they've gotta take off their lids.
I won't have those Rube Goldberg contraptions tearing up my headliner.

7. Like the wigs and hats of the 1600's
How did the men and women stand it? They most have been like a ton on your head.

10. Interesting...
The beaded ones look like Art Deco revival pieces to me. Very beautiful decorations.

The red bits could have been borrowed from cyber headgear collection.

I'm afraid that the only one that doesn't work much for me is the beads and twigs mess. It looks like it might be an attempt at postmodernizing an older design.

11. Manic Millinery
Would ya look at that poor thing in the ear muffs?!? Her look says "I can't beleive they made me WEAR this shit." But hey, we've all gotta pay the rent somehow.

What ARE those red things. Looks like she either got tangled up in a Slinky machine or just walked off the set of Alien.

Oy.

12. Look at my sister's bloody stupid hat:
She gets all the inheritance, and she spends it on crap like this?! And, just to make it clear, she *wanted* to wear this hat...
