1. Here's a non-hairspray 80s hair band
"Disposable Heroes" by Metallica. I do believe Master of Puppets came out in 1986 and they've done nothing to equal it since then.

that was my favorite metallica album... ever.

and to think the only reason i bought in the first place was the artwork gave my mom seizures....

by the time i was into my metal phase most of my fundie relatives knew enough to stay the hell away from me. sadly, that lesson didn't stick. with the last eight years, they've become remarkably strident. and i've responded in kind. :evilgrin:

They weren't a hair band in the music sense of the phrase, but they did have lots of hair back then. Nope, there was nothing like Metallica being played on the radio back in the 80s. At least not in my little corner of southwest Ohio.
