Chris' birthfather's Valentine's cards arrived today - he and I gave Chris the exact same Snoopy card.

Every card, letter or email we get from him contains the same sentiment: he thanks us for being good parents to the boy. Not that I mind, but the thanks go the other way as well at least as much.
