Poll question: What do you think?
Edited on Fri Mar-05-04 09:35 PM by The Lone Liberal
In a recent poll asked of high school students one of the following was ranked the highest. Which do you think ranked the highest?

After a few votes I will give the answer.

1. It never changes.
Popularity means more than everything.

It's just like with adults, except children don't care about politics or well paying jobs.

5. You're probably right....
but it seems like too obvious of an answer. I'm thinking that maybe the financial insanity of most Americans over the last few years has made them want high-paying jobs so they can save up enough money to not be homeless during the next Rethug administration.

The expectations were so high during HS.

7. It would seem that the vote is in on this question.
This information was taken from the book, The Cheating Culture, David Callahan.

page 203: The Survey was conducted by Josephson Institute of Ethics.

The highest ranked was " getting a high-paying job." It ranked far and away higher than any other question offered. Even above "being attractive and popular."

What do you think this says of today's culture?

8. They're after pie in the sky?
Does the book say how they intend to get these high-paying jobs?

And what are they smoking?
