What was the lie? The price? the time? is there a contract? does the contract state what you were told? Are there damages? has work begun?

3. the ammount of time
we were given the choicebetween kohls stores at 2k a pop told we could be able to knock 2 out in a day (the lie they take 3 days at least, and the ones in michigan are designed the worst of all the stores) or cell tower installations at $550 a pop being told we would be lucky to do 3 a day, we just did a cell tower and knocked it out in n hour, we can do 4-5 a day depending on location, we have been lied to every step of the way and they are stalling on paying (they owe us $18,000)

2. do you have it in writing???
One of my friends here own 4 hardware stores and installed a computer system for checking inventory. He was given a contract that it would be done within a certain time - it wasnt and he refused to pay. They took him to court and he won!

5. then I'd need to see the contract
If what you signed was counter to what you were told and the contract is legal, the contract would prevail.

6. i thought so
we are going to re negotiate in a few months because we were hired for more than usual because it was crisis time for them, were gonna nix the store installations we can make $2-3,000 a day just doing the tower work, i have no real intention of legal action (made $22,000 in a month and 2 weeks work) just wondering if any law was violated

7. I don't have enought facts, but it sounds like it might be
fraudulent inducement, which is, of course, actionable.
