Any Brits want to confirm that? (The site's British -- and the source of the Spongemonkeys.)

I hadn't heard "flange" used in that context either (and didn't think about it before I posted ;)).
Or, my slang vocabulary might be that outdated. I've never heard "spam purse" either.
