Whew! Ok, I think I figured out the Facebook problem

Thanks to a wonderful tech-savvy DUer who shall remain nameless. :)

A long time ago, I joined Facebook. Back in the day, Facebook was a college thing, so you were associated with your school. Or rather, I tried to join Facebook...I never got the confirmation email, somehow, and I forgot about it, until I joined again much later and it was successful.

Soooo...this old profile, with my maiden name, has no pic, no friends, nothing. He must have messaged me through that, and it must be associated with my University email addy, so that's why I got the message.

False alarm...I really am terrified of him, with good reason. x(

Due to my political contributions, you can find my address in about 2 clicks. Sigh. At least I'm aware that he's looking for me in some way. Our common friend has vowed to keep me posted as to his whereabouts and to contact me immediately if he's coming anywhere near MA.

I think it's pretty hard to track somebody down unless they leave that information out in public on purpose. At least, that's been my experience working in the web business these past 12 years. :)
