Good morning Lounge
How are you all?

Me? I am doing fine. Yesterday evening they showed to documentaries at work which had our museum as topic. One was from 1986, the other from 1974. It was hilarious. In the one from 1986 we saw some colleagues we still know. We cracked up.

So I keep myself occupied not to think about the mover guy. He is not worth it.
Thank you all for your kind words yesterday.

Picture of the day (grave of Georges Bizet on Pere Lachaise cemetary in Paris, composer of "Carmen", my favorite opera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcnsMnRMN2U&feature=PlayList&p=EE04FCF6FC6AFE4F&playnext=1&index=19 )

My toes are quite cold, (In my slippers, no socks on and no heat in my computer room!) I was about to sign off for the night but I can hang out for a moment or two longer...how are you and how did Saturday go?
On edit: watched the video, I am not much of an opera fan but...what a beautiful woman and OMG what a voice she has, quite warm, rich and POWERFUL!!!

I had such hopes for ya too! Well, it's his loss Miss H., you deserve better than a mover anyway!
(I'll have you a full bio on my friend asap.-likely by this time tomorrow night!)

btw: I once knew a lady who could sing opera if she wanted to. She chose not to do so, preferred to sing rock music instead. She was incredibly talented but talent won't buy you a hamburger if nobody ever gets to listen to that talent. She is now a personal trainer for a local fitness center-just one of many tragic stories I have run across in the local music industry.
on edit: I found something online regarding that singer lady I just mentioned:
http://www.toddscostumes.com/Xena%20Fans/naomi_beebe.htm oh and did I mention that she was a Xena look-alike too?)

5. I love the picture!!!!
Good morning MissH! :hi::loveya:

So, cemeteries are my favorite places to take photos. I always wonder what their lives were like when I read the gravestones, especially when there is a quote of sorts.

I love opera too. "Tosca" is my favorite :D

I have been trying a new exercise regimen to deal with my pains. I worked out two days in a row, not a major feat, but a step in the right direction. A friend also suggested eliminating caffeine, so I have not had any since Friday. Yesterday my eyes were crossing at work

I am looking forward to my trip to Virginia next month to see my friend. If nothing more, it will be a good opportunity to get away from life here in the super cold tundra. ;)

I hope you have a terrific day!

I love taking pics on cemetaries too. I prefer b/w photography there.
Here is one of my favorites, I took it in Savannah, GA. The Bonaventure cemetary is perfect for those pics :)

I quit drinking coffee years ago. Now I drink tea. Way better :)

7. Morning MissH!
Yes, it must have been entertaining to watch the film with your colleagues. Glad you had some entertainment at work. ;)

I've never taken pics in a cemetery, oh wait, once out west. Had a friend who would find very old and decrepit cemeteries and do "rubbings" of the names/dates/epitaphs.

As you can see I'm running extremely late. *sigh* I'll probably take my breakfast to work.

I started to wonder where everyone was. Glad to see you

I find cemeteries very interesting. They are so different in each country, it is fascinating. Also that nowadays cemeteries aren't the place to worship the death anymore. No big statues or anything.

the older cemeteries. Beautiful sculptures, truly works of art. We have several of them around here. Maybe I'll have to take a look when the weather warms up.

I play 7 vs. 7 co-ed, so there must be at least 3 women on the field at all times. We had to start a player short last week because one of the women was running late. They ran all over us for the first 5 minutes. I hope that one of our ringers can show. With her, we could actually win; without her, it can go either way.
