Power off/Power on/Power off/Power on....

It's like someone is messing with me somewhere...

I wake up in the middle of the night freezing, and my CPAP machine isn't working and realize ice has taken out the power lines. I get up and get ready by the flashlight. Take a shower and a long one because I'm cold and I figure the tank will be cold the next time I get in if it doesn't go back on. I'm ready to leave and suddenly the lights come on, yayyy!!!!

Then, I come home, nothing but rain, and some ice still in trees. Get home and NO POWER again. :wtf: no more ice all day. So I'm thinking hmmm.... I need to get ready to stay warm tonight, and so I'm talking on the cell phone and it goes dead, and the lights come on. Turns out sheer coincidence, but yaayyyy!!!!

Warm and lights and still ice coming...

Does the CPAP have a backup of some sort? Is it dangerous for it to go out?
