1. Those in the picture
probably wouldn't have much less of a chance than the Arizona team does. Pittsburgh is going to pound the poor Cards into the ground like a railroad spike, unfortunately.

God, I HATE the Steelers.

2. You're probably right...
...I'm just hoping for the greatest upset in SB history.

3. As I just stated in the previous thread
I hope Arizona wins too, but if they do I'll have to change the channel or shut off the TV the second the game officially ends. Few things churn my stomach more than listening to Kurt Warner praise Jesus, and he can't give an interview without doing so.

BTW, the greatest upset in SB history was either last year or in January of 1969. The Steelers are only favored by seven.

4. It's all subjective, point spread not-withstanding...
...a 9-7 Arizona team - who most said should have had their rights to even be in the playoffs taken away - beating the mighty Steelers, could arguably said to be the biggest upset in SB history. IMO, it would be right up there with the Jets beating Baltimore, though in hindsight, that wasn't a really big upset.

On the Warner thing, I agree. But he's a Jeebus Moonie, so what can you do?

5. I didn't think the Giants had any business in the SB last year,
and they had to set a record for longest road game winning streak to do it just to face an 18-0 team. Personally, I don't think this year compares to that. I do, however, wonder how the Patriots feel after missing the playoffs at 11-5 and seeing a team they beat 47-7 go to the SB.

I know and have heard a lot of Jeebus Moonies, but Warner is the worst of the worst. He actually makes the late Reggie White look moderate. After the Steelers sack his ass ten times and crush his team, I'd be willing to pay any reporter $500 to ask him on national TV if he blames Jesus for the loss.

6. BTW
For some reason I wrote "as I just stated in the PREVIOUS thread," but I meant "as I just stated in the PREDICTION thread" (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=105x8454103). Sorry about that. I was juggling three or four things at the same time and just brain-farted.
