The evening of the inauguration
A newly unemployed George Bush is seated on the floor and losing at solitaire. Laura sits on the nearby couch, when George notices something different about her blank stare.

"What's wrong, Pickles?" asks the ex-Executive.

"It just occurred to me," she sighs wistfully. "That's the last time I'll get to ride Marine-1."

George throws down the cards, grimacing in disgust. "At least learn their names," he fumes. "If you have to refer to them by number, you're riding too many of those poor boys."
