Harsh news: Brazil's finalist to Miss World competition has hands & feet amputated

Apparently she had a urinary infection that cuts off blood circulation to the extemities, but the doctors misdiagnosed it as a mere kidney stone. After two days of further agony, the treatments didn't seem to be working, so she got rushed back to the hospital and doctors had to undertake more drastic efforts to save her.
