1. Spaghettios or Oyster Stew
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 10:21 AM by Jamastiene
As far as traditional breakfast food, I can stand a ham biscuit and I do like cereal (Honeycomb), but that's about it. I rarely eat breakfast anyhow though. Forget eggs and all that other stuff. I have to be more awake to eat that type of food. It doesn't agree with my system.

11. I love the smell of coffee, but I rarely drink it.
I do like coffee, but I have a very entrenched habit of grabbing some Dr Pepper first thing every morning. It's like a ritual with me. If I don't have my Dr Pepper, I'm going somewhere to get one. :)

7. I very seldom eat breakfast, but my favorite is any breakfast cooked over an
open campfire out in the woods followed closely by the breakfast you have at 3:00 a.m. (or whenever) after you've left the bar.

9. leftover pizza
or any other kind of real food, including soup

don't really care for "breakfast", hate cold cereal:puke:

I can eat a big traditional breakfast sometimes, but I would rather have the other most of the time. And I prefer to eat around 10 after a couple hours of work, not right when I get up or having coffee (that I must have, although I can get by with any caffeinated sub in an emergency)

Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 10:37 AM by Bertha Venation
Had it yesterday morning at Nick's in Hallandale, FL, before heading to the airport.

There is a waitress there who recognizes us, even though we only go in every year - 18 mos. or so. She's sweet. (She probably remembers us because we're good tippers. :))

with some toast and fruit.

I have eggs and sausage on Saturday or Sunday.

And I always wake up with a large pot of super strong, dark roast coffee.

34. Hi Bertha!
Kefir is a cultured milk product,
similar to yogurt but it comes in
many forms, from cheese ( like sour cream)
to liquid kefir, similar in texture to buttermilk.

http://www.lifeway.net/

I love the plain, lowfat kefir from Lifeway.

>

It's super healthy, full of good active cultures
we need for our immunity and lots of calcium.

One of my kittehs, Darwin,

The government made them quit. Now I don't go to Orange Julius anymore. It's not as good without the egg.

Do you blend the egg & juice?

I make sure to wash the eggs first, though, with a weak bleach solution just to be a little safer from salmonella.

31. Big sloppy diner breakfast
Eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, toast, coffee, OJ. Or maybe a big messy Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream.

Of course, I can't remember the last time I had a big sloppy diner breakfast... :(

33. eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns, biscuits w/gravy and coffee with cream.
served by someone else. Usually the eggs are over easy.

Once in a great while I fix eggs and toast for myself but my normal daily routine is steel cut oatmeal .

That big ole truckdriver breakfast has too many Weight Watcher points for me to do it very often.

I also love migas
