Electric shavers v. disposable razors
This morning, in the shower, I sliced my ankle for the FIFTH time this week, while shaving my legs. I was using a disposable razor.

For those of you who use disposable razors, which brand do you use that prevents this from happening?

For those of you who use electric shavers, do they work well around your ankles and knee caps? And what brand shaver do you have? I used to have one - a Remington - but it died after about 8 months, and the damned thing cost me almost $100. I never bought one again.

3. are you using those single bladed ones that look a little like mens?
I used to get cut from those all the time. I'm using the Schick intuition..Its got a moisturizer around the double blades so you don't have to use soap or gel and it NEVER cuts me and does an excellent job shaving me...

oh btw, I'm working on learning my way around my new phone AND I got some text messaging capabilities so I might practice on you..:)

10. Cool!
So next time you're in town, and you need directions, you can text me and I'll text you back - something like this:

Make a right at the Wawa.

Make a left at the Dunkin Donuts.

Make a slight right at the Mobil station.

Make a left at the liquor store - the one with the bars over the door and windows.

Make another right at the house with the concrete lions on either side of the sidewalk.

Text messaging with a Jersey girl can be soooooooo helpful! :hi:

12. I figured out why people there give directions like that
Edited on Sat Jan-24-09 06:58 PM by CreekDog
poor signage! :wtf: :banghead:

or maybe those New Jersey Highway people put Dunkin Donuts and Wawa's out there as landmarks so people can navigate.

9. It's a triple blade.
I think my ankle bones are too prominent, pointy, something. I can't seem to get the job done without nicking one of them. :(

Uh oh. You've got the text-messaging bug. Maybe I'd better upgrade my Sprint plan. :P

6. i use the schick (i think) intuition
it's got the solid built around the blade and, in the four or so years i've used it, i've never nicked myself.

the refills are a bit pricy, but it's worth it to me.

20. I always cut myself with disposables.
To the point where my best friend once asked me if I had shaved my legs with a chainsaw. Okay, that was 20-some years ago, and I've gotten better at it since then!

21. I've been using the same disposable razor for about 3-5 years now
Yes I'm stubbornly cheap but it still works fine on my apparently leather skin.
