the original thread is called "Drums!!!!!!", of course.

For those of you playing along at home (poorly, I might add), the second set of every Dead show featured a prolonged drums piece (not a solo, since they had two drummers), immediately followed by an ethereal jam session known to all and sundry as "space".

So do I have to exchange my US dollars for loonies to pay your prize, or will Zimbabwean money do? :yourock:

edit: at least all thirteen I saw, in the late '80s and early '90s; I have no idea whether the tradition started some time before I got on the bus.
