J.K. Rowling Hints at More 'Harry Potter'
LONDON -- Harry Potter may be set to grow up. Writer J.K. Rowling hinted Thursday that she may not stop at seven books about the adventures of the young wizard and may write a further installment featuring the adult Harry.

In a live Web chat to mark World Book Day, Rowling -- who has always insisted she'll write only seven Potter books -- was asked by a fan if she intended to write books about Harry after he leaves Hogwarts, the academy for wizards.

"Probably not. But I'll never say never because every time I do I immediately break the vow," she replied.

1. why kill the golden goose
she's created what has to be close to the perfect series--age appropriate books with a very loyal fan base.

I always though Harry had more stories in him after he leaves Hogswart, if he does leave that is--he's my choice for the Defense of Dark Arts teacher after he graduates

2. That would be cool
It would kinda be a capper on the series. I think some loyal fans, *ahem* would wonder what a grown up Harry would be doing. And how he would resolve his dark/light magic.

3. In another article I just read
She was asked if she would ever do prequels, and on that she said "NO". She said that by the end of the seventh book all the backstory will be revealed, so there would be no need to do prequels.

(I'm not really a Harry fan, I just know there's a lot of them here.)

4. I would love to see more books on Harry...and Hogwarts and the whole
crew! I'm 44 and I love the dang series...
Harry as a professor at Hogwarts would be good, or perhaps at the Ministry of Magic...nah, Hogwarts is better.
