My neighbors absolutely love me and I can't lift my arms.

1. I swear that my chainsaw puts on 5lbs. every winter,
and doesn't lose it during the summer.

I know how much work a chainsaw and an sledgehammer/wedge can be. But, think how good the upper-body workout was for you.

Regards, Mugu:)

2. This is the time of year when I really kick myself for not getting it together sooner
But, when the true motivation to not freeze to death kicks in, I can split wood with the best of them.

9. You're not the only one.
Just this last Sunday I finally mounted the blower on the tractor because I could no longer get the truck down the lane. I've managed to just muscle my way out for the past few years, but this year it finally just got to be too much.

It would have been a much easier task at 50 degree than it was at 5. Grease didn't want to come out of the gun, oil didn't want to spray, the extension cords were stiff as hell, pins didn't want to come out of their holes and then didn't want to go back in, and oh man was that steel bitter cold on old hands. Oh well.

Regards, Mugu

3. We have a burn ban in King County thru Thursday.
Just in case you didn't see it. 1,000 fine unless wood is your only source of heat. Keep your muscles warm, allow the lactic acid to be flushed. Hey! And I started waterboarding myself because of your glowing review!

4. I'm exempt, I've got nothing but a wood stove.
Which is why I'm the idiot out back chopping wood for 3 1/2 hours. Big fun!

Hope the schnozz rinse is working for you. I still think it's horrible horrible while you're doing it, but the results are totally worth it.

6. It does work.
I had been thinking about it for some time. However, from scuba diving class, I remembered hating water up my nose and had been putting it off. Then, with your explaining that yes it is awful, but worth it, I decided to try. I do it in the shower, that takes care of the mess and am so pleased with not having to blow my nose all day long!

5. So, we will be seeing on the news tonight about
a young mom in the Pacific Northwest who has gone missing and is presumed wood chipped?

7. Local news featured a story about a young man weeping over a pile of sawdust
According to sources, the futility of it all was overwhelming.

8. Many moons ago, when I lived in CT, some guy, an airline
pilot, ran wifey through the wood chipper. It gave countless others ideas.
