1. I know it. I wore a jacket to work today!
First time I've broken out the leather coat in, like, two years.

2. It's 55 here, but three hours earlier. It's supposed to get up to 61. You should move ASAP.
Also, all the people who have to dig a path through the snow just to get to their snow shovel are going to kick your ass now.

I would if I could get away with it actually...But errr, letting it hang loose is not a good idea when you work at the corporate HQ for a large, prestigious international company..Besides sometimes it is a bit er painful..but when I get home..first thing off..even before the shoes most of the time...:)

21. Our high today was -8. Yep, our high.
Tomorrow, the temperature is actually supposed to get above zero. We're all quite excited!

You Sunbelt Sissies could never handle real weather, though. You should probably stay where you are.

24. LMFAO. pansies..
How about you live in Kansas in December for 1 week. This past Christmas, the Sunday before Christmas saw temperatures of 5 degrees. By Friday, it was 75 degrees. It sure must suck to live in a place where you don't get all the seasons in a week.

25. I can't believe I've begged for some winter
It got down to 42 last night so I finally broke down and turned on the heat when I went to bed. It apparently doesn't work--presently 62 in the house. I'm gonna have to dress like a Chinese peasant and build a fire in the middle of my living room. :(

On the bright side, this cold snap should finish ripening my Valencias, so I've got that going for me.

It's now ten below zero. Of course, nobody expects anything different from Maine in winter.
