This thing is beyond crap. I'm glad I bought the insurance, 'cause Mr. Dare is about to go sleep with the fishies!

4. The biggest issue is a recurring, but sporadic problem.....

At times, it will neither receive calls or messages. It's on, and the signal is strong, and I can make calls and send messages. However, the handset will not ring if you call it- it goes straight to voicemail. Who knows where the text messages go? Later (sometimes MANY hours later), all messages come through at once- even if other calls and messages have been made in the interim. I've missed some very important calls because of this problem. Verizon's only advice so far has been to run the "reprogram" thingy many, many times, hard resets, and updating it to the newest firmware- but nothing helped. They won't replace it until they see it happen, and unfortunately I can't predict when it happens. My next plan is to take it to the service center and have them re-activate my old phone and let them keep the dare for a few days. Or the "accident" and I'll have to pay $50 for a new one.

Otherwise.... It just isn't up to snuff. The operating system is sluggish and the "browser" is mostly useless. The virtual qwerty keyboard is difficult to use.

The camera is good- I can say that much, at least.
