I'm dying to smoosh a baby! I have two new nephews on the way in the next four weeks, and one of my friends just had a baby last week (but she's in Canada, so I can't hold her baby). I love being at the stage of life where my kids are older and more self-sufficient, and I can enjoy my friends' babies (and my sleep)!

Age-wise I like 'em a couple years older the best. When they ask 9 million questions and expect prompt answers. Keeps ya on your toes :D

His latest thing is.. laying on his belly.. wanting what's in front of him baaaad.. then crawling(well, skooching) backwards away from it and getting upset :rofl:

26. yeah, the lions are nice

they flank the walk where it meets the driveway. It is a nice house. There are about 3 or 4 lovely mansions along the street facing the creek and the geese (and the duck :) ) spend a lot of time munching and sunning on the manicured lawns.

This is Angel, once thought to be a feral but whom we've learned is someone's housecat far away from home. He came to us nearly spavined, and now he is fat & sassy. I think he is de-clawed. :cry: He's thwacked at me a couple of times and I haven't been scratched. Barbaric.

We take care of him best we can. He wants to come in so bad, but he is intimidated by the other kids.
