Has everyone lost interest in Top Chef?
Two weeks in a row now I can't find a lounge thread for Top Chef. Admittedly it's not their best season, but someone did get thrown off for mangling a leg of lamb.

1. I watched it!
We should have a thread next week for Restaurant Wars! :bounce:

So who are your favorites right now? :hi:

2. i still watch it
you're right, these definitely aren't their best contestants, but it's still the best reality show out there and it's the only reality show that judges people on merit, not popularity. If you screw up, you're gone.

3. I missed it last night (spoilers)
Ariane?

After the first 2 weeks she was one of of the top chefs. How did the get rid of her and not someone as crappy as Carla?

4. Carla did well last night
She made the only dessert that they liked, and Ariane massacred the lamb...She tenderized lamb! :wtf:

7. She more than tenderized it
She boned it, beat it, slathered it with lord-knows-what,and rolled it up. She would have been far better off just salt and peppering it and shoving it into the oven.

If I'd had their ingredients to choose from, I would have made southern fried chicken, roasted garlic potatoes, plain boiled corn on the cob, tomato salad, and a blackberry cobbler.

13. Yes. Leah NEEDS to go home.
I can't say I'm all that thrilled with her little "camp romance" guy Hosea either. Seems like neither one is much of a chef. I'm hoping the Restaurant Wars will take one or the other of them out...

None of the 'reality' shows are really reality shows. The only way you can catch people potraying their true nature is to film them without their knowledge ala "Candid Camera".

but I got really tired and decided not to.

I won't make the same decision next week!
