Pills on your clothes--any way to prevent them?

I have some polyester slacks, fairly new, and they are pilling badly.

1. You can't prevent them

Although you can shave them off with one of those gizmos. Buying at the Goodwill helps--with used clothing you can tell how it's going to wear because it's already been worn.

2. Perhaps if you weren't so clumsy with your pills

Perhaps you should open those pill bottles over a table or something. And you can request easy opening pill bottles if you have issues with those child proof caps.
