5. I have a most excellent book:
"Dr. Seuss Goes to War."

Before he was Dr. Seuss, Theodor Geisel was an editorial cartoonist for "PM," a left-wing paper in New York. The book has all of his cartoons that appeared in it in the run-up to and during WWII.

I thought they'd dug up a heretofore unseen extreme close-up of the Hindenburg disaster — though what that has to do with comedy, I'm not sure. :shrug:
