Dogpile is a metasearch engine using multiple sites such as Google and Yahoo. I've not been there in a while but now I see they're working in conjunction with the ASPCA with their search and rescue.
Just thought I'd mention it.

every day and click through the rest of the buttons - rainforest, literacy, etc. Takes less than a minute a day to help.

5. I have always used Dogpile

Now, I have a shortcut making it go directly to "Advanced Search" mode.

The new website makes it lose what you typed in there if you hit a search and then go back a page to edit your words to more specifically find what you want.

So now I very frequently use Dogpile.UK instead of .COM. That one remembers what you were looking for on the previous page.
