Can we agree that the Heisman Committee got it wrong?
TEBOW. Grace under pressure. Took his whole team, hell, the whole game, on his back and found a way to win. Completed passes. Ran the ball himself and pounded it up the middle. Churned out the yards.

What did that other guy do? Folded like a cheap rug. Choked in the biggest game of the year.

Tebow should have gotten the Heisman. Again.

That is all.

1. Did you ever notice though that the heisman is kind of like
'best new artist' at the grammy's? A big percentage of the winners go on to not exactly set the world on fire or self destruct in thier prime.

5. That seems especially true for QB winners, with some glaring examples from the
state of FL. Nothing against Tebow, but I'm gonna hold off on crowning him the next <insert your favorite QB here - I'm not looking to start a brawl> until he's started and won for a few NFL seasons...

6. I'm not saying he's the next , just that he should've gotten the Heisman this year.
You're right, of course, that a lot of Heisman winners flop in the NFL.

7. Certainly he has a very strong case - and the head-to-head results are compelling
I wonder if the Heisman committee was bothered at the idea of a repeat (it looks like there's only been one 2-time winner so far)...

2. so it should just go to the QB of the national champion team then?
Why even bother voting. Just wait until after the championship game and give it to the winning QB. By your "logic" anyway.

To answer your question, no I do not agree. It is based on the season not performance in one game.

3. No, not automatically to the QB of the winning team ...
But in Tebow's case, he was one of the Heisman finalists. His performance NOT ONLY IN LAST NIGHT'S GAME but all season, and especially last night, shows that he deserved it.

4. Oh, by the way ... did I mention LEADERSHIP??
Yeah. Tebow showed that too.

9. Yes. Graham Harrell should have won.
And D-Mac should have beaten that silly Florida gadget back last year, too.
