For Russian peasant multiplication, repeatedly double the first number and halve the second (ignoring remainder); then sum the resulting first numbers, ignoring all those for which the second number is even

 111100101101 = 100101 X 1101001

In the base two version, repeatedly append 0 to the first number and drop the final digit of the second; then sum the resulting first numbers, ignoring all those for which the second number ends with 0. But this is obviously just the shifts and adds of ordinary base two multiplication
